Stopniowanie przymiotników po angielsku – jak to działa? Przykłady dla początkujących

W angielskim przymiotniki możemy zmieniać, żeby powiedzieć: że coś jest bardziej jakieś (np. większe, szybsze) albo najbardziej jakieś (np. największe, najszybsze) To nazywa się stopniowanie . Są trzy stopnie: równy: big (duży) wyższy: bigger (większy) najwyższy: the biggest (największy) Jak to zrobić? Bardzo prosto. 1. Krótkie przymiotniki (1–2 sylaby) Do krótkich przymiotników dodajemy końcówki -er i -est . big → bigger → the biggest small → smaller → the smallest fast → faster → the fastest long → longer → the longest Uwaga: gdy przymiotnik kończy się na jedną spółgłoskę po samogłosce, tę spółgłoskę podwajamy: big → bigger → biggest fat → fatter → fattest hot → hotter → hottest 2. Długie przymiotniki (3 sylaby i więcej) Długich przymiotników nie zmieniamy końcówkami. Dodajemy przed nimi słowa: more (bardziej) the most (najbardziej) beautiful → more beautiful → the most beautiful interesting → more interesting → the most interes...
