I Understand English but I Can’t Speak It. Why This Happens?

Many people around the world study English for years. They learn grammar, read texts and listen to recordings. After some time, they can understand a lot of English. They can watch videos, read articles and understand conversations.

But when they want to speak, something strange happens - the words do not come easily.

Many learners say the same thing:
“I understand English, but I cannot speak it.”

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. This situation is very common. In fact, many English learners reach a point where they understand much more than they can say.

This does not mean that you are bad at languages. It usually means that your learning process has focused more on understanding than on speaking.

The good news is that this problem can be solved.

On this page and on my social media, I will share more about why this happens and what you can do to start speaking more confidently.

Because understanding English is already a big step. Now it is time to finally start speaking.
